Foreign Affair’s Dream on The Marilyn Denis Show

Our very popular Dream 2013 was featured on The Marilyn Denis Show by Chef Michael Bonacini as one of the four Canadian wines to try this year.

Enjoy the segment below:

In honour of the ‘Abbraccio’ Bear on the label, her guests did a tasting and then embraced each other!

The segment highlighted the following 4 wines with food pairings:

Gray Monk Pinot Noir from Okanagan Valley, British Columbia

Norman Hardie “Cuvee L” Pinot Noir from Prince Edward County and Niagara, Ontario

Benjamin Bridge Brut Reserve from Gaspereau Valley, Nova Scotia

Foreign Affair ‘Dream’ from Niagara Peninsula, Ontario – “A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, with 15% of the grapes dried in a process called “appassimento” which was made famous by the big Amarone wines of northeastern Italy. Rich and dark with notes of blackcurrent, raisin and coffee.”
