With aromas of sweet blackcurrant, dried cherry, kirsch, fig, vanilla, tobacco and oak. The palate has powerful flavour and body, with dry, smooth tannins and a long peppery finish.

Pair with lean cuts like tenderloin, New York striploin, or T-bone steak.
Serve with grilled zucchni, Portobello mushroom stuffed with goats cheese, or prosciutto wrapped asparagus.
Top with peppercorn sauce or blue cheese.
In the Oven
Pair with slow cooked, hearty dishes such as Osso Buco,Tourtiere, or classic lasagna. With roasted vegetables, caesar salad, and baked potatoes all making excellent sides.
