2015 Gran Q
Cabernet Sauvignon 35%, Merlot 29%, Cabernet Franc 18%, Petit Verdot 18%
On the nose, aromas of dried cherry, figs, currants and dates, toasted oak, baking spices, and a hint of eucalyptus. The palate has rich flavours of cherry, cocoa, fig and chocolate pastry. Powerful yet balanced with a long and complex finish.
2016 Gran Q
Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Cabernet Franc 20%, Merlot 20%, Petit Verdot 20%
The nose on this wine is luxurious with layers of rich cocoa, vanilla bean, butterscotch, cherry compote, black fig and coffee. The palate is rich and powerful with flavours of dried cherry and currants, honeyed figs, crème brûlée, baked cherry pastry and chocolate. Elegant tannins frame the bold flavours and lead to an incredibly long finish.
2017 Gran Q
Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Cabernet Franc 20%, Merlot 20%, Petit Verdot 20%
|Aromas of dried fig, dried cherry, mocha, dark chocolate, and subtle vanilla and butter toffee notes. The palate is powerful but elegant with flavours of dried cherry, blueberry, figs, and currants together with dark chocolate, toffee and mocha.
2018 Gran Q
Cabernet Franc 64%, Merlot 22%, Petit Verdot 14%
With aromas of blackberry jam, dried figs, brûléed sugar, coffee beans, leather, dark cocoa, and baking spices. The palate is powerful but elegant with bold tannins and a smooth long lasting finish.
