Conspiracy 2019
Named in honour of early friends and supporters who helped harvest and sort grapes from our first vintage and came to be known as the ‘Conspiracy Council’. With aromas red cherry, raspberry, subtle black pepper and smoky oak. The palate is complex yet balanced with smooth tannins, full fruit flavours, good acidity and subtle oak.

Serve this wine with dishes such as pork tenderloin, Barbeque chicken or ribs, burgers, charcuterie, beef brisket, eggplant parmesan, lasagna, and oven-fired thin crust pizza. The Conspiracy is a crowd pleasing red with food pairing versatility making it a great get-together wine.
Winemaker notes
The 2019 vintage benefited from a very hot summer, leading to ripe fruit with complex flavours. A Ripasso style wine of Bordeaux grape varieties. The grapes were harvested (mid-late October), fermented, and aged separately before final blending. The wine is then repassed over the skins and lees of our Appassimento red grapes for added depth and flavour. This Conspiracy was aged in French and American oak barrels for 10 months.
