The 2018 vintage benefited from a very hot summer, leading to ripe fruit with complex flavours. A portion of the Chardonnay harvest was set aside to dry in the appassimento method which lends to the wines creamy texture.
With fermentation and aging taking place in stainless steel, the Amarosé also retains its fresh fruit aromas and flavours.
Delightful on its own on the patio, or as a welcoming beverage for guests. This wine pairs perfectly with baked brie appetizers, fresh watermelon and feta salad, prosciutto wrapped melon, grilled sea bass, seared scallops, cedar plank salmon, turkey burgers and thin crust pizzas.
