The palate has an impressive mouthfeel with juicy flavours of ripe cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry and plum supported by big silky tannins and integrated oak notes. All leading to a lengthy dry finish.

  • Winemaking Notes

    The 2016 vintage was hot and sunny, the vines produced fruit with very ripe flavours and lower acidity – a great Niagara vintage! The exceptionally ripe Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were harvested in late November. The drying period was 100 days, and after pressing the wine was aged 18 months in French and American oak barrels. This wine is drinking beautifully now with its juicy flavours and firm tannins. The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon will continue to evolve in your cellar through to 2026.
