L'eredita 2017
Our flagship wine hand-crafted from the first vines ever planted at our Crispino Estate Vineyard. The name L'eredita means Legacy, in honour of our founders Len and Marisa Crispino. Aromas of dried cherry, fresh figs, caramel, vanilla bean, fruit compote, cigar tobacco and spice. The palate is bold with elegant balance and complexity. Lots of dried fruit flavours, fig, coffee and subtle caramel. Elegant tannins lead to a long warm finish. Enjoy from 2023 - 2027.

Winemaking Notes
The 2017 vintage was cooler than average, a warm trend just before harvest allowed for the grapes to fully ripen. The Cabernet Franc grapes were hand-harvested mid November. The drying period was 125 days, and after pressing the wine was aged for the18 months in French oak. With only 4 barrels made.

This wine is meant to savour alongside multiple courses. Pair with a selection of blue and aged cheese with charcuterie to start. For your main course serve with Filet mignon or truffle risotto followed by a dessert of rich dark chocolate, or enjoy with a fine cigar.
