The 2012 vintage was exceptional, our Estate grown fruit ripened to unprecedented levels. The grapes were harvested and sorted in late October (Cabernet Franc) and early November (Petit Verdot) with a portion set aside to dry for 100 days in the traditional appassimento method. The wine was aged for 18 months in select French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels. Drink this wine now, or continue to cellar through to the year 2022.
This wine pairs naturally with grilled red meats, rosemary roasted lamb, osso bucco and prime rib.
