On the nose there are aromas of citrus blossom, jasmine, sweet ripe melon and hints of minerality. The palate is beautifully balanced with flavours of ripe apple and fresh lemon zest, the crisp acidity leads to a long complex finish.
The 2013 vintage was mild but consistent which allowed for slow, even ripening of the grapes resulting in complex flavours. The grapes were harvested in early October. A portion of the Riesling grapes used for this wine were then dried in the appassimento style before being pressed. The wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel.
This wine pairs naturally with fresh oysters, paella, roasted chicken, pork tenderloin and fresh Thai cuisine.
