The inaugural vintage of our Sparkling Rosé, and our first ever sparkling! With a delightful and persistent effervescence as a result of Charmat method fermentation in stainless steel, this wine displays lovely flavours of wild strawberry, bright lemon, and crisp apple. The Appassimento (dried) Riesling portion contributes to an elegant body weight and finish. Enjoy now to take full advantage of this wines vibrant fruit and freshness, it will continue to evolve well however through to 2023.

The 2019 vintage saw warm and humid conditions throughout the summer resulting in the need for extra care and investment measures in the vineyard. Harvest was later than usual, but the fruit was healthy, flavourful and ripe! The Pinot Noir was harvested mid September, pressed fresh, and kept on-skin for 6 hours, resulting in the delicate pink colour of this wine. The Riesling was harvested mid October, with a portion (8%) set aside to dry in the Appassimento method for 80 days.
Delightful on its own on the patio, or, serve with dishes such as a board of light creamy cheeses and rich salty charcuterie, fresh salads, fish and chips, barbecue chicken, rainbow trout or pork tenderloin.
