The 2012 vintage was exceptional, our Estate grown fruit ripened to unprecedented levels. The grapes were harvested and sorted in early October to early November with a portion set aside to dry for 100 days. The wine was aged for 23 months in select French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels. Enjoy now after a lengthy decant, or continue to cellar through to the year 2022.
This wine pairs naturally with grilled ribeye, big game meats such as venison, elk or bison, grilled portobello mushroom, dark chocolate, charcuterie and blue or aged cheeses.
