Aromas of tangerine, orange blossom, white peach, nectarine and pear. The palate is refreshing with a nice weight and flavours of lemon cream, pineapple, mandarin orange, lime, citrus and papaya. Available exclusively to Wine Club members.
The 2017 vintage began cool and rainy however a warm snap in early Autumn allowed the fruit to fully ripen in time for harvest.
A portion of the Sauvignon Blanc harvest was set aside to dry in the appassimento method which lends to the wines subtle creamy texture. With fermentation and age taking place in stainless steel, there is also a delightful acidity supporting ripe flavours. Drinking beautifully now, this wine will continue at its best through to the year 2021.
Serve this wine with summer salads, fresh oysters, fish tacos, trout, roasted chicken, couscous, Thai cuisine, jerk pork, or by itself on a patio.
