750ml Bottle – 13.9% alc./vol
With aromas of honey, white peach, nectarine, jasmine flower and orange blossom. The palate is vibrant and refreshing, showcasing flavours of fresh stone fruit, white cranberries, pear and citrus.
The 2019 vintage saw warm and humid conditions throughout the summer resulting in the need for extra care and investment measures in the vineyard. Harvest was later than usual, but the fruit was healthy, flavourful and ripe! The Appassimento portion of this wine comes from our Estate grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes (14%), harvested early October and set aside to dry for 64 days before being pressed. The Viognier was harvested early November from our partner vineyard 5km from the winery itself. The wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel.
The perfect pairing with fresh seafood, creamy rich sauces, and summertime patio visits! Serve with dishes such as fresh oysters, seared scallops, goats cheese appetizers, fish and chips, lobster with butter sauce, fettucine Alfredo, and arugula salad with candied pecan and strawberries.
