||The inaugural vintage of this 'Wine Club Red' was hand-crafted by our Wine Club Members, for our Wine Club Members. With aromas of fresh ripe cherry, blackcurrant, raspberry preserves, and smoky pepper. The palate is supported by firm tannins and a lasting acidity leading into a warm and luxurious finish.
||The 2019 vintage saw warm and humid conditions throughout the summer resulting in the need for extra care and investment measures in the vineyard. Harvest was later than usual, but the fruit was healthy, flavourful and ripe! The Appassimento portion of this is 37% after 56 days of drying. The wine was aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels.
