This past weekend (July 28 2024), The Foreign Affair Winery hosted an unforgettable event: Bubbles, BBQ & Big Bold Reds. The picturesque grounds of Vineland Research was the perfect backdrop for an afternoon filled with exquisite wines and delicious food.
Highlights of the Event:
Winemakers Shucking Oysters: One of the standout moments was watching the winemakers themselves shucking fresh oysters. This interactive experience allowed guests to enjoy the freshest seafood while learning about the one of Rene's favourite sparkling wine pairings, Oysters.
New Sparkling Wine Release: The event also marked the exciting release of The Foreign Affair Winery’s latest sparkling wine, 2022 Traditional Brut. Guests were among the first to taste this new addition, which perfectly complemented the sunny weather and festive atmosphere.
Public Release of 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon: Wine enthusiasts were thrilled with the public release of the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon. This bold and complex wine was a hit among attendees, who appreciated its rich flavors and smooth finish.
Culinary Delights: The food offerings were nothing short of spectacular, thanks to the talented teams from Fat Rabbit and Tide and Vine.
