The 2018 vintage benefited from a very hot summer, leading to ripe fruit with complex flavours. The Cabernet Franc grapes for this wine were harvested mid-November with a portion set aside to dry for 120 days before being pressed.This wine then spent 16 months maturing in French and American oak barrels.
This wine pairs perfectly with charcuterie, firm and blue cheese, Moroccan style lamb and couscous, French onion soup, veal rigatoni, mushroom risotto, and dark chocolate desserts.
