A celebration of Canadian excellence – the label on this wine reads “Sorry” on the front, and “Not Sorry” on the back. A statement which speaks to the quality of VQA wine being something Canadians should be wildly proud of, and unapologetic for.
With aromas of dark cherry, plums, dried figs, mulberry compote, violets, cigar box, leather and sarsaparilla. The palate has rich flavours to match the nose, with subtle spice and vanilla on the long finish. Enjoy now after time in a decanter, or cellar through to 2028.

The 2018 vintage benefited from a very hot summer, leading to ripe fruit with complex flavours. The Cabernet Franc grapes for this wine were harvested mid-November with a portion set aside to dry for 120 days before being pressed. This wine then spent 16 months maturing in French and American oak barrels.
This wine pairs perfectly with charcuterie, firm and blue cheese, Moroccan style lamb and couscous, French onion soup, veal rigatoni, mushroom risotto, and dark chocolate desserts.
