Tasting notes

The aromas are reminiscent of raspberry Campino candies, complemented by a hint of cedar. The palate offers subtle smoky flavors intertwined with a delicate BBQ spice. The grippy tannins and medium body create a well-balanced and inviting tasting experience.

Food pairing

Food pairings could include grilled burgers with aged cheddar, pulled pork or even lentil curry.

Your older wines seems to be a better tasting than anything above 2022

I bought the offering simply to see how the blend would work. I must say "WOW" - I was pleasantly surprised. The flavour was rich and warm and it made for a wonderful glass of wine - both pre and at dinner. I will certainly be looking for more of this offering going forward.

We have enjoyed Foreign Affair for more than a decade. This 2022 vintage is excellent - the depth is nice and for me the Cab really shines through. Another great wine from them!
